I'm really needing help from the xs650 gods right about now.
So I finally got my 78 xs650 special rebuilt and running again... on one cylinder only. I cannot, for the life of me, diagnose this issue.

Both sides are getting fuel and air
Compression is great on both sides, 160psi each.
New plugs and wires
New Battery
I bought new Mike's coils last year, both of the tabs show power with a test light when the key is on.
Points, condenser, charging system is all original, but it worked exactly 1 year ago when I first laid hands on the bike and was riding it around town.

I switched both the plugs and wires to both sides, continues to only fire on the left cylinder.
I opened the points cover on the left side while running, the top point marked "R" was sparking rapidly, nothing at all from the bottom point marked "L"... what does this mean?

I am wanting to upgrade to a PMA and Pamco ignition, but would also love to ride a little bit in the meantime...
Any help or tips or suggestions are very much appreciated
THANK YOU!
