Anyone riding today ?

just got back from Haughen's in Manchester for their cruise in. Mostly Harley's, but did see a nice old Kawasaki 900. It is not very well attended these last 2 years, must have fallen out of favour. Crazy hot here, low 30's.

Those mountains, love this picture, did you really take the picture today? Doesn't matter I suppose, that fuel burn looks heavy, I'll look at a spreadsheet I did when I was looking at how far I could get on a tank.....

I cannot tell a lie.........................I borrowed that picture from the internet, as I did not have my regular camera with me. There was no snow on those mountains today.

I don't understand the "fuel burn looks heavy" when my Canadian brain tries to translate:)? However, that's the best fuel economy I have ever had in the 10 seasons that I've run the bike.

RG keep this up and you'll have a banner year. Even bust 2000 KM maybe?
Yes, my kms driven each year varies somewhat, but generally I average 2000 kms per season. The most kms driven in one year was 4201 kms back in 2011. The longest single trip was 2000 kms, which was done over 5 days in 2011. The most kms in one day was 620 km, which was last year in 2015. Don't forget, I am only 69, so I still have some growing up to do. Its only my youth, that keeps me driving an older motorcycle, around the countryside:wink2:.
