Yello Mello Chopper

Wait a minute man are you hiding an SR back there too? Or is that a rebel or something? What's your other thumper next to the BMW

Thanks guys... The db hartail is really good quality. I think they box that lower frame in just so that people dont have to separate the backbone. But its not that hard to get lined back up.

And yes it is quite a drop! haha... 2" stretch and 4" drop. Ill just have to run a really fat 18 in back to get it to sit right.

Hunting for parts now... then i gotta start to figure out the foot clutch... hahah

Yeah! You make a kit right? Have you seen the foot clutches that have a lock, so that you can lock the pedal down? Would be rad for sitting at lights and stuff... to lock the clutch down and leave the bike in gear...

I do the mod to the worm and make an arm. I dont make the controls I make them to uses with aftermarket stuff.

Ill def have to keep that in mind Irish_prick...

I got my bender the other day, and decided to make a new set of bars to break it in. Decided to make a set of pull back rabbit ears. Came out pretty nice. Cant decide if i want to run these or the ones i had on it before.... haha...

Been sneaking some time on the xs in lately... just a few small things that needed to be done...

Got the rear rubber mounted and did a quick mock up...

Finished the welds on the electronics bag... cut it open and made some tabs to mount the cover to... Should make a good stash box...

Finally made a kickstand for it so i dont have to use the skateboard to hold it up anymore... haha... makes moving it around the garage alot easier...

My first post in this thread in a while... I wanted to get this bike done for the chop off like 2 years ago. Well some shit changed in my life and i have alot more time for motorcycles now! So its getting done!

Just got a motor in the frame and started finding all of the parts i had stashed around the garage for it...

Was digging for xs 650 parts for the chopper and found these old aftermarket highway pegs in a pile of junk in the basement! I think they will work perfect for this bike!

My saying has always been... Better late than pregnant....... But its all the same.
That tank and fender combo looks good. Nice and skinny !!!

Got a little bit of work squeezed in on this yamaha. Finally made some battery/oil box mounts and get it on the frame. Still need to weld the underside, but Ill pull the motor later for that. I think the next big thing I need to get done is the sissy bar, so i can get going on a seat pan.

That's funny! Seems I'm in the same boat with my bike project. I'll have to say that in my opinion, your bike is one of, if not the best looking XS Chop's I've ever seen. Thanks for posting pictures of your progress. You took your time and put the thought in required to get it right.
