High and Tight Mid-Controls.

Happy to release our new high and tight mid-controls for the Yamaha XS650

Our mids use a 3/8" thick mounting plate, with 1/4" thick linkage. All fully tig welded together. To make sure they are smooth and tight we use bronze bushings. Our drum brake setup is designed as a single pivot with no need to have a second pivot point welded to the frame.

Using the stock brake switch light? Don't worry we have you covered. We have hidden a mounting bracket on the backside of the right mid. We like to keep things clean and hidden.

The pull rod that will be supplied with the mid controls, is machined from 3/8" high strength 1144 steel rod. With a tensile strength of 125,000psi. So once you bend it to fit your bike you will not have to worry about flex or stretching. One end is threaded to 6M1.0 so that you can use the stock spring and adjuster nut. The other end will be threaded to 1/4"x28 it will be long enough if you to cut down if need be.

The mids will be shipped with all the necessary hardware to install them.

*Our mids will not work with the stock exhaust! Unless you cut them short.*

We are also working on a bolt on bracket for a sport bike master cylinder for everyone running a disk rear.

Very nice! Wish I had the coin to get those! Brass pegs would be super cool too!

Best looking mids ive ever seen. Will be getting a set when I can scrape up the change. Can you do the pegs in brass?

I have never had any issue with dragging them, or had any of our customers mention any thing.

We have just moved our shop from Iowa to California. We are still looking for a new shop that will work for what we need. Unfortunately we don't have any mids made up. We typically make them per order. We will be updating or website, facebook, and instagram as soon as we get a shop so we can start making parts again!

Hey just an update for everyone waiting!! We are trying to plan the layout of where everything will be going in the new shop! I can not give an exact date but we will soon be up and running, if everything goes right in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted!!

Alright guy!! I have been busy getting the mids ready to build. Spent all day at the plasma table getting all the parts cut and ready!
I spent some time over the last few days tweaking them and we will be upgrading a few parts on them.

We will open up the website for ordering in a week or so.
