Wanted - chain guard

I might. Most of them are the later squared off style but there is one of the older rounded curvalinier design in very good condition. All of the mounting holes match up so if it fits one it fits them all. Problem, at some point they changed the angle of the shocks which changed the angle of the shock window. Then they played with the swing arm length and that changed everything. My guess is that if your bike is a Special, it should fit. But if it's not a special then chances are any of my chainguards will probably not fit.
Good Luck

I wonder if Jake ever found one, my "rounded" one died, so I ordered one from mikes about a year ago, it's not the same shape.....might re visit that, try and get the bike looking original as I can.....

I could probably tell by image comparison. But anyways. Let me know brother.

As I recall, this chainguard would not fit on my '83 because the hole for the shock absorber is more vertical than on the later bikes. IOW at some point Yamaha started laying the shocks down just a tad. I'll see if I can post some photos so we can see what we are talking about.
