Hi all,

Are Jemco still in business? I'm after a set of their high pipes, does anyone know how much they sell them for?

Many thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe:

I just went on their site and while it is still up - it doesn't look too active. Here is the contact information listed:

1919 B Blalock
Houston , Texas 77080
Phone: 713-461-3834
E-Mail: info@jemcoexhaust.com

Apparently, you can send them an email at: info@jemcoexhaust.com

Think old school — don’t expect much from his website or a modern email-enabled purchasing system.
(Expect good products at reasonable prices.)

I bought pipes from them around two years ago & am planning on getting another set this winter.
He didn’t accept credit cards when I placed the order — had to send him a bank check or money order.

Call them.

Thanks all,

Contact made :)

Question is, do I wait for the lousy USD:GBP exchange rate to sort it self out...

This is for a project my Dad and I were going to do 10 years ago when it was $2:£1 ! Looking around 1.2 these days...

Thanks all,

Joe

My advice is - do it right now. You'll never remember the few extra quid you'll have spent but you will always treasure the grin on your Dad's face when that old gal starts to rumble.

Pete

+1 on that. I would not be surprised if the exchange rate gets even worse for you.

The flip side is that the Higgspeed two stroke exhausts have gotten cheaper on our side of the pond.

Hi Joe,
I'm with Pete; do it now because your Dad ain't getting any younger.
And before you have to hang a sidecar on it so the poor old Gent can still ride the bike
(For me, that was in my mid-60s; BTDT)
As to Sterling going down the toilet, a true measure of inflation is how many hours wages does it take to fill a grocery cart, then vs now?
