For Sale - 1980 XS650 Hard Tailed Bobber

I am selling my 1980 XS650 Bobber due to I have my eye on another bike and I have to sell this one to make room. As some of you may have seen it was not starting and I took it to a shop and they found the previous owner installed the Pamco ignition wrong so I replaced it with a full Pamco kit with E-advance.

I installed the kit at my friends shop and it ran fine but I decided to rewire the bike completely so I tore it back down. I have not finished the wiring yet but I did mount the new fuse box under the seat and the E-advance but I decided to take a hit and just sell it and someone can do the wiring instead. The bike is in good condition and is a blast to ride, here are some of the parts done.

Hard tailed and welded by a professional and looks great.

Chain has a thousand miles on it

Front and rear tires are like new

All new gaskets in the motor

New Pamco kit with E-advance installed but not wired

Custom painted bobber tank that was recently cleaned and sealed.

Custom battery box with a fresh battery I bought a week or two ago thinking that is why it would not start

New water proof fuse box that I have not finished wiring in but it is mounted under the seat

New coil and spark plug wires that came with the Pamco kit

Carbs were just professionally clean and jetted


I am sure I am forgetting some stuff and some things need to be done like finishing re wiring it and also if you like paint the rear fender. All The wiring has been completed and it is running better than ever. I added a new fuse panel so if someone would like to add things such as a horn or turn signals they can easily. The bike is ready to ride with a new battery, new wiring, and the new E-Advance Pamco system.
