Just a bit of fun: What is the origin of your user name?

This is a great thread,,,
So here is mine,,,
My name IS Fred and I got hitndahed by a pretty big steel beam when I was hogging steel.
So my boss at the time devised it.
And I have used this or a version of it for almost 25 years now..

Major Hockey fan with my fav team being the Detroit Red Wings. Always proud to display the Winged wheel and use the handle on all the forums I belong to.

Astronomy is my OTHER hobby, and Orion is my favorite Constellation, 61 was the year I was born, and this old World has never been the same.

My name is Tim... The site said Mackels was taken. I prefer Mackels. I have a difficult last name to pronounce quickly. Stems from the hockey days because 4 syllables is too hard to say quickly.
Edit: Mackels was taken by me....Mackels FKA Tim. Travis combined my accounts.

A what? Splain that to me please.
Lol my family has always been into horror, even my grandparents, obsession really. My dad, an avid bike builder and wood worker built a neighborhood spook walk through the woods, and with that came plywood coffins we constructed and painted. Upping the ante if you will, air lines were ran and rigged to make doors shoot open, more powerful they became, so powerful that the doors which to be fair were thrown together quite weakly would blow off the hinges, so my father and I have always joked about our "exploding coffin emporium" hence the name

CoconutPete is one of the main characters in what I consider Bill Paxton's greatest movie ever. Plus my name is Peter, so usually If I'm anywhere on the internet, I'm CoconutPete.

When I was in high school, a western movie came out which had a character who was a judge called Maximum John (I think it was John) because he always gave every accused the most severe sentence.

My name is Peter and I have always been a sort of go for it kind of person. One of my ding-bat high school buddies started calling me Maximum Pete after that judge - and I shortened it to MaxPete due to limitations on the length of computer names.

I've got to say - Exploding - your name has always intrigued me and now I know.....very cool.

Short Track, Half Mile and Mile. Half Mile was always my favorite.

i played on my fire department softball team right when i first got hired. No one there knew my first name, most of them still don't. when we made the jerseys, all of the new hires got goofy names on their jerseys. mine ended up being "schlake and bake." It stuck. I've used it on several forums along the way. i alternate between a couple, but this is my main one

My name is Fred and I live in Saskatoon,
If there's a prize for boringly obvious user names, I claim it.

Nah Fred... My name is Bob..... simple direct and to the point, no sense in over doing it I say.....keep it simple !
if i was ever to pick a User name that discribed me it would have to be something like Tinkerer or Multifixer because I pride myself as being able to fix just about anything..... anything except my spelling that is ! LOL
Bob......

Hi Bob,
WTF you doing still out of bed at 2:20 AM you ol' night owl you?
And you have so picked a user name. It sez Bob Kelly III right on your avatar.

Two questions:

BOB - do you really live in a California town called "Weed"? I thought the only place with that name was in British Columbia...;)

FRED: isn't your last name "Hill"? But there are no hills in Saskatoon, are there? An odd paradox (but of course there likely aren't any docks there either)....hmmmmm. :D

OK - I will stop now.
