I stay with using lead acid batteries in my bike. Very reliable, inexpensive, rugged. It always, easily starts my engine using the little black button, and lasts about 8 years here in Canada.

For the XS1, I use $24.00 Interstate led/acid. My knee hurts no matter what battery is installed unless I'm at hilltop when a start is needed. john

Even with a working e-start I prefer to use my leg, so my batteries AGM last a long time. CCA is just a marketing ploy who's going to be riding at below 32 F anyway. However; we do have a large contingent of Canadians 0 C is probably quite balmy to them.
Yup, that's pretty much T-shirt weather. Lol.
