Doug 79 posted that he couldn't put his '79 airbox photos here but could put them in the garage section.
And I wondered why.
So here's a photo that I posted in the garage to see what happens:- IMG_0008.JPG
It's a totally worn out 17T sprocket off a VF750F.

Hi Pete,
not totally shot, when my younger son went against my advice and bought that bike he rode it home on that sprocket.
And besides, shot or not, my sprocket photo made it to the classifieds. It was the photos of Doug's perfectly good airboxes that didn't.

Hi Skull,
vigilant as always. Thing is there's only two headline options available in our classifieds.
There's FOR SALE and there's WANTED.
There certainly ain't one that says WTF, EH?
And in the spirit of your enquiry, a fore sail should be in the small boats section and there ain't one of those, neither.

I made a sprocket like that on my 305 honda dream...... I got suspissious that it might be wore out when it started slipping when I applied a bit of throttle...... turned out it barely got me home up the hills in the driveway !!! .... i tightened the chain and drove it for a few more days before I could afford to buy a new one, it was getting fairly close to round before it was retired ! LOL that poor machine saw more abuse than 6 bikes ought to !
..... Bob.......

Fore sale items are supposed to have a price on them............????

I'm new and first impression on classifieds with make offer seem tacky and I avoid them. Other forum sites I frequent have written into the rules that if you post a classified, you MUST, list the sale price!

On this forum, I have purchased from sellers that list parts and prices. Another, thing.... If your selling parts, pictures are a must.

Last point. Skull is right! FOR SALE listings MUST HAVE A PRICE. Item 5 in the rules.

Fred, I think the problem wasn't the software. I also think some fail to fully read posts. But are certainly up to snuff on the rules.
There are four other options besides for sale and wanted. There is a trade, make offer, free and the choice to have no prefix at all.
