Easy to beat on Harley but we've all had these days haven't we.

BWHAHAHAHA ROF LMAO. The dude has a great sense of humor and a couple of nice bikes.

Yeahhhh... In my younger days I had a '79 SuperGlide. Mostly stock. Yeah I can recall doing the kick start ritual. Praying, swearing, panting. Wondering if sacrificing a chicken would help.....

The number one reason why I never considered a Harley is that in my youth I watched a guy kick over a nice Sporty about a hundred times in 95* weather. He was too pooped to climb on I thought he was gonna heat stroke. My ring dinger Yamaha 250 was a one kicker.

If these early engines were timed right they started as easy as anything. He does have a good attitude.

True - but nobody seemed to actually know how to time them.

I was sitting at a Dairy Queen on time with my girlfriend, having ridden in on the XS650B and we watched a big tough dude come out of the DQ and try to kick his hog - which back-fired and tossed him (a 250 pounder) right over the bike - which then fell over and landed ON him.

Great gales of laughter ensued from the assembled throng....:lmao::laugh2::D

Talk about having a crappy day.....:(

Cool video - Reminded me of a few things I have seen in my travels. Loved the use of the FFFF word! Such good timing.

Yup - the DQ guy was just like that, except he started out straddling the bike and jumped up to give it a mighty heave.

When it booted him back - he toppled off to the left and landed in a heap on the ground - following by his hog.

Painful....but hilarious.

I worked with two guys the rode shovel heads and never saw them kick them more than twice. apparently they had figured out the secret. I also had a shovel head Sportster with electric start and I barely had to hit the button and it would be running. didn't seem to master how long it had been sitting either. But get a stubborn one and you will wear a leg out!
