getting closer to home, storms ahead.

break in the weather in co springs. hail, rain and snow. 39 degrees here.

after riding over monument pass in blizzard conditions, 32 degrees and wind chill, we called it quits. We could only ride for 8 minutes at a time before we had to stop and warm our hands on our engines. my buddy who lives in castle rock gave us a lift home, the last 28 miles. made it home, safe and sound. around 2500 miles total, no major breakdowns. a great father-son trip for the books.
