Recently purchased ultimate pamco with e advance(mikes part 14-0913) to replace stock tci ignition.

Wired as per instructions but no spark. Specifically, from e advance its red to switched power, green directly to coil and black to good ground. Engine cranks but no spark.

Are coil terminals specific when wiring pamco?
And also, when watching voltage drop on crank, volts drop to 10.5. Bad cell or normal drop?

Fyi all tci components and wiring were remived for pamco install.

Thanks in advance

I will add that briefly (intially)the green wire was also wired to switched power then to coil. Hope that did not fry anything.

With green to switched there was voltage to coil with a .2 drop with ignition on. Now green wired directly to coil, there is no voltage.

Thanks in advance

Jaydla180,

The green wire comes from the collector of the transistor. If you wired it to switched battery and attempted to start the engine, the transistor would be fried. Not covered by the warranty, but we can work something out if you PM me.
