Enjoying what you're doing I think is key.

You're so right old boy. If you don't like it, why do it? Unfortunately so often we get trapped in a career that we don't enjoy, but have no choice as there just aren't the options out there like there used to be. For the most part I have enjoyed all my career choices. I have been self employed for most of my life which has it's own unique advantages and disadvantages.

Hey Pete, didn't work with Sanders, was with an outfit in Mississauga, Sonotek, long since gone. You know you're damn old when one of the devices you worked on is now In the collection of a museum. Jesus Christ!

Hi QL,
J-C indeed. There's a Bristol type 170 Freighter hanging up in Winnipeg's aircraft Museum that I built the engines for.
Well, my Journeyman actually built them while I passed him the parts, but that still counts, right?

Jman commercial electrician. Got out of highschool in 2001. Got on right away. Got my ticket in early 06. Always been a ton of work here. Never had a lay off. We both have great pension. Retiremnt for both of us at a reasonable age looks good. Unless these kids show up. Hahah

Wife and i stil have no kids at almost 35. (Not our choice and we have tried ivf once) so we take our riches and travel lots.
