Jim's 1980 SG Miss September

Well, the frame thingamajigger is workin out as good as I expected... better actually. It's a one finger effort to rotate it.
Here's another teaser on the frame cleanup....

I took out my Tachometer and mounted dual USB outlet charging ports and a round voltmeter(not as pretty as yours) on a plate of aluminium.
True, it's crudely done and maybe not that socially acceptable but, it works.

Looks pretty good to me:)
What I'm looking for is a way to mount it without changing the original look any more than is absolutely necessary.

The speedo and Tach had gone all wonky so they were useless. I swapped them out for the digital dash and used the the other nacelle for for the VM and charging ports. Chinese cheap but, still working

gggGary! Where did you find that?! Evilbay? I likey!

I'll be damned if this ain't about the cutest little voltmeter I ever seen:)

Now I just gotta figure out where to mount it so it looks like it belongs there. Suggestions?

That IS a nice voltmeter Jim - but I think your charging system voltage is a bit low....;)

May I ask where you got that one?

Convert your bike to jockey shift, 8-ball shift handle...
Ye gads! A suicide clutch? Ain't rode one of them in ages.... and hope it stays that way;)
Was just sittin' here pondering maybe a "fake" steering damper knob along the lines of the early bikes.... with the voltmeter in the center of it. A nice looking aluminum knob would "almost" pass for original equipment. How inconspicuous is that....
