I want to have the triangle where the battery currently sits completely clear of "stuff". The wiring I can run along the seat and tubes and such but where do people put the battery? I've seen plenty of build with that space open that are still electric start so they're not just getting rid of it. Is there a small battery you can get that gets shoved down behind the engine or something?

Believe it or not on that tray I'm fitting a microsquirt ecu, 8 cell lithium battery, a pair a small fuse blocks, 3 relays, turn signal flasher, and ignition switch. You just have to be creative.

Hi Josh,
a solution that's not for everyone but worked for me.
Don't think small; think big. And to the right.
With a car battery behind a sidecar's seat you'll never have battery-related starting problems again.

I have my Zero Gravity battery under and mounted to the aluminum pan I made. this battery is a recent addition and required after I put in a Shindgren SH775 voltage regulator. The plastic 4" X 4" electrical box has my fuses, flasher, etc.
