In real terms thats not so bad.
Think what it would cost to pay someone to repair an existing tank and get it panted to factory color and decals. Wouldn't get much change from the $780.

Dang!!! That’s a darned near complete example of the (IMHO) sexiest year of XS650s. All it needs is a tank repaint and decals, sidecovers and a seat that doesn’t make me want to poke out my own eyes. Best of all - it’s got what appears to be an absolutely beautiful set of 1975 mufflers - and it runs!!
For $1 US large. THAT is a genuine bargoon!!
