Bike has a visual impact brat kit, with disk brake's. I am looking at a sissy bar DIY kit from TC bros.

Where are you guys mounting the strut to the swing arm on the DISK/right side? I'm planning on using the hole from the chain guard on the left side!

Thanks in advance

with it mounted to the swingarm, it is going to shake whatever is strapped to the sissy bar to death, and will likely fall off.

As long as the metal holds I'm good. I'm good at strapping shit down. I plan on modding one of my old army duffle bags, slip down over that sissy bar then stap to it

Hi james,
the sissy bar vibration would be no worse than you'd get on a hardtailed bike and you do see some on long distance rides.
I met one with Tennessee plates riding the Cabot Trail.
What'd concern me is all that additional load adding to the swingarm's unsprung weight and effing up the bike's handling.
