The dogwood and Eastern redbud are currently peaking around here. I encourage you to go find some, even if it's just out in the 'burbs. Compliment the homeowner on his good taste.
Well folks, it's in the books. We've been doing this since about 2002. As it turns out, this was the last one for me. Likely, the Dogwood Rally rides into history.
The Society is not pulling out. I am. I will no longer be able to do it because I'm moving away. I'm deeply committed to the Vintage Yamaha Rally, so doing this one from afar isn't going to work out.
The weekend was great. There was a small XS650 turnout. There was a vintage bike gathering going on simultaneously at the resort, so it was a real treat for those who showed up.
No reason we can't keep it going in your absence Marty. It's a great location at a great time of the year. Really cool it coincided with the Two Wheels Vintage weekend but it made it tough for those of us who like to show our bikes as well as ride them.
This guy showed up with his $600 barn find XS2.
Stalwarts like your self are the lifeblood of these sorts of events. It has been entertaining reading the events every year, sorry i couldn't make it, dam carbs arn't waterproof, lol...........Hope the shift goes well.
