Bob, 17/34 is stock on North American models, OP's gearing is raised, not lowered. With the 17/32 sprocket combination and a 110/90-18 tire, redline occurs at around 118 mph, if you have enough motor to pull it.

I went through this today! Luckily I didn't tug on the lever hard enough to break anything. I made a video to show the mistake I had made.
Good catch TG - and thanks for the video. I'm sure that it will save someone's bacon over the coming months / years.
