hi guys i was wondering if anyone knows how the metal H bracket goes in a 1979 xs650. it sits under the brake pads, for the rear caliper. thanks

The front and back calipers as far a I know are the same. Just the mounting plates are different.

That H bracket has a tab bent down on one side. That goes up into the caliper body towards the outside, the side with the piston in it.
