Are you going to go through Salem again? You don't have time and maybe no inclination but Mammoth Springs is an interesting stop.

It either went back to working all on it's own, or I was hallucinating after a long day on the road . Arrived early even after a 25 mile "detour".

WOW - check out that colour-matched Vetter Windjammer OEM Yamaha fairing!! I've never seen one like that - but I did have an $150 el-cheapo Windjammer rip-off (it was called a Torque Commuter) on my 1975 XS650B back in the day...
At a break, great 115 miles O back roads this morning.
Brake light issue was just the rear switch adjustment.

Earlier start today. Great riding, about 140 mile loop. 8 bikes 7 were xs from 73 to 83 no breakdowns all weekend. Fun group to hang with, but no story telling???

With all the salvaging, and what I would think, horse trading you do, you should be able to entertain everyone for hours.
