Listing this for my Dad. This bike has been in our family for about 10 years. Dad loves it, but he's getting older and prefers riding his cruiser these days.
This bike is in excellent condition and needs nothing but a rider. Tuned and detailed to the Nth degree. It has full Progressive suspension, front and rear. The tires are in great shape (I believe they are Shinko's) and the rear wheel was re-laced to an 18" hoop, keeping the Heritage Special spokes. Front fork brace. Braided S.S. lines and EBC pads and shoes.
The engine and carbs are in excellent shape and always serviced. He modified the air box intakes and it's running genuine K&N air filters. The exhaust is a MikesXS performance 2-1.
The seat is a cafe style seat from Mikes XS and is NLA. Cafe front fairing, Dayton handle bars, Napoleon bar end mirrors. The tank was swapped for a larger capacity early model tank. The stock Heritage Special tank and a shaved down H.S. seat are included at the asking price.
Full details on the evolution of this bike can be seen in this thread:

Asking $2800 OBO. Located in Rock Hill, SC, very near the Charlotte metro area.
$2800 for the complete package.
$2600 for just the bike.

Without cafe fairing.

With stock H.S. tank and shaved seat (and 16" rear wheel...before he re-laced it)

That is a beautiful bike Scott - wish I lived closer (and the exchange rate wasn't so high). I sure hope you find a good home for it!

Can I ask about the mini windshield in this pic?

Love this bike! Can you share your thoughts on the performance of that exhaust? I've the same pipe on my free bike, but always wondered how it performed. I've read that XS's don't like 2-1's as much as other bikes. Also, how's it sound??

I think it sounds great. We had the Commando pipes on before this exhaust and dad says he feels that the 2-1 makes more power up top.

The flyscreen is something I found one eBay years ago. I think it may still be in the garage somewhere, maybe with a tiny stress crack in it.

Here are some pics of the spare parts:

The Commando pipes are long gone, used on another project that I sold years ago. The only exhaust is the 2-1 on the bike. No spare exhaust, just the tank, seat and small stuff in the pics posted above.

Great bike , can't see why it hasn't sold yet . would love to ship it home to Aust . but got two bike's on the go .
