1980 Cafe Racer inspired build

I like the pipes. Are they the latest version surface prepped SS?

Some more powder coat that was not masked. I swear after all of this the biggest job will be removing all the amateur-job powdercoat. This spot in particular was keeping me from flipping the pegs up.

Bending the shifter. I guess I don't have any pics of the kick starter. I tried to heat and bend but the first bend was required right at the base where all the meat is. I ended up heating it up so much that I melted the threads on my bench vise...had to replace that one.

On both the brake pedal and shifter, I measured the distance between the fulcrum and the end on the original parts, added the same measurements on the piece that moves the rod on the rearset, and subtracted from that total the length or the lever on the rearset. That is the length that I had to cut the old lever to connect the rods to.

Made a seat bracket out of steel stock that was originally holding a door together on the house.

More ugly welds. When the kids are behaving I run out to the garage and see what I can do and it starts to really show at times like this. More grinding to do I guess.
