Can`t really tell from the pic but that doesn`t look like a 16" rear??

Is it an "80" special II that has the aluminum rims ?

Bit of a bitsa........Right about the wheels, (79SII)............frame has the lugs for metal side-covers, (79SII), carbs are BS34's, (80 and later), front brake rotor looks like it could be off an early 73-76 Standard.

For $100 OBO can't go wrong

Wow what talent and what a bitchin build...I always post the pics as then you can always view them after the ad is deleted...Note..this isnt my style but it is so well done i had to share it with y'alls....

I have a custom 77 yamaha XS650 bobber that I picked up a few years ago and am looking to get rid of. Pictures speak for themselves. This is a cool little bar hopper. Runs well and starts with one or two kicks on most days. It is kick start only with two hidden toggle switches for start and lights. I did not do this build, I purchased it from a guy in DC that did the build. Serious inquires only. Bill of sale only, it is currently registered. $5500 OBO. I will not answer texts, please call.

Is it just me or would you rather own the stock special a few posts up VS the other special below it, the one with no front brake. .? I feel like stock bikes are going to be much more valuable in like 30 years from now. Plus why would someone brag about how fast thier bike is and then not even run a front brake ?
