Thanks. Yep, I run into that scam all the time. The moment they ask me to email them rather than telling me where to pick it up I know what's happening. Still, I got my current '81 for $1200 off an ad like that and it runs like a top. Have ridden it 1500 miles the last 2 1/2 months. So I keep responding to these crazy ads and occasionally one pans out.

Yeah that would be a great start to something really neat!
Some cool bikes there and a LOT of them, but I'm not a fan of going to auctions like that.

could be I think I recognize that purple 305 scrambler got beat out by minutes, on CL a few years ago. Mr Monkey claw used to be in Appleton WI

While I admire the craftsmanship..not sure about the headlight..but it is well done...overall...i like it...love how he used the license plate as the rear fender too...very cool...
