the Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place to ride now.
Motorcycles are everywhere this time of year.
I’m still searching for a sighting of the elusive rare XS650.
Getting exercise and enjoyment this weekend.

We just had the coolest average temps for May in 48 years. Here in Az , when the Midwest USA was having all those torrential storms, we were on the backside of those storms and we just mostly had clouds and wind.
If history is an example, really mild springs are followed by furnace like heat which will set a lot of records.
We will be up in 100 degree days again this week.
Woo!

We had tornadoes in our area last week two days in a row. closest was near Newark, 30 miles away. But about 25 years ago one came down a block away and took a roof off an assisted living facility, took down a row of town trees, and raveled up the grass on the corners of their driveways and sidewalks like carpeting, then went another block and threw huge oaks around on top of bilevels.

Well, it’s Sunday June 15 and in Canada, it’s Father’s Day - so all the best to Dad’s everywhere!

As for the weather - crummy, rainy, cloudy and bit windy. We’ve had amazingly poor weather this spring - truly the worst I’ve ever seen in my life.

Hi Pete,
Happy F-D to you, too.
Same miserable weather in Saskatoon, the temperature matches the date and it's raining because weekend always trumps occasion.

That’s sad Fred as ‘toon is reportedly the sunniest City in the danged country followed by Windsor.

Hi Machine,
the photo with the young lady in it, WTF does that forest have in it that needs such a massive fence to stop it leaving?

Bigfoot ?
Lol, “Sasquatch” ..
that old corral or loading chute has been there quite awhile. Open range cattle and horses in the past up here at the now Conboy Lake Wildlife Refuge on the South East side of Mt Adams WA . This area is snowed under most of the winter. Sparsely populated by ranchers still. Plenty of wild life up there. We only saw coyote, wild turkeys, and other big birds.
Incidentally Skamania County , I believe is the only place to have a law against killing a Sasquatch :)

After a disappointing spring, now having a probably brief period of beautiful weather. Yesterday, we saw 22°C - that's pretty warm for the Scottish Borders - with cloudless sky and sun shining all day long.

98* here in Eastern NC...Everyday this month has been 90+ so far..tmrw more of the same...Lows about 74*..been very dry for the SE and thats how i like it...next week they say its gonna cool down some ..mid 80s'..

107F and one can tell the Monsoon rains are near. Humidity is rising and clouds in the sky. Monsoons last until Sept. My least favorite season.
I spent 15 yrs in Tucson..always loved the thunder and lightining displays during monsoon season..Water is life in the desert..also i sorely miss the smell of Creosote...Everyday from noon on watch the clouds build over the Catalinas and by 4pm..Boom solid torrential rains..what a show...
Not good for swamp coolers though..BTDT

Now? A comfortable 78. Earlier? 95 with a heat index of 105. But then a helluva storm to cool things off. Still very humid though. But comfortable.
