Just scored a set of new 650central Hi-Vo manifolds, and wondering if they'll work with EX500 carbs or "only" VM34's?

They say not for stock carbs, which I'm not planning on running at all. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

They wont fit. There is not enough room between the XS frame backbone and the angle joining rail that runs between the EX carbs.
With standard XS inlet rubbers the joining rail needs to be relieved.
I took some rough measurements, the 650 central inlets are 37mm long, the GPZ carb is 100mm long from the carb mounting face on the XS head to the frame backbone is 120mm. I did this without taking my bike apart so not super accurate.
You may have the skills to engineer your way around this but it is not a bolt on combo.
Those inlets are beautiful to behold I bought a set for a project but went to 36's instead.
I also think the EX/GPZ 500 carbs are great.

Awesome, thank you so much for that! The price was too good to turn down, so I wanted to get on them! I've a set of VM34's as well, so these manifolds will likely get put on my bobber build and I'll keep the EX carbs on the "stock-ish" build.
