That looks like quite the haul there. The carbs are sitting on a box labeled Polaris correct? Could be for almost anything, personal watercraft, snowmobile, ATV?
If you could get model numbers off of the carbs or the box, you should be able to do a little research.

Nice XS hobby you’ve picked up Norton”76”d
Maybe you need one of these to start bolting stuff on lol.
Thanks all members who helped me yesterday identify the 82 drum brake frame/swingarm that was destined to be thrown away. I’ve set it aside for somebody elses rainy day

You bought some good stuff. The 277 PAMCO stuff is high grade gold for that matter all the PAMCO stuff is. Guy on here the other day was looking for 227 plate. Sounded like he was willing to give his left and his first born. May have been his first born's left. Either way if you have no need for it you will have no trouble moving it.

Some nice stuff there.
Carbs are from Topham.de - German suppler of Mikuni carbs. http://www.mikuni-topham.de/ENGLISH.../XS650_TM34-B120_English/TM34-B120_XS650.html
Those linked TM's are the cats meow for xs650's. Currently listed on Tophams site for $534EUR = $594USD http://www.mikuni-topham.de/ENGLISHSITE/ENGLISH/Frame_English.html

Probe 277 ignition is another nice find.

Wow! I had no idea. It just gets better and better. Someone had collected some nice stuff. I wonder why they never used them?

Yeah what a score!
I've seen it a time or two (not as nice as this haul!)
Christmas shopping syndrome?
Big ideas, big wallet, but no round tuit.
Often includes a stripped down bike sitting on a harbor freight lift table in back corner and a completely different project, front and center in the garage.
I kinda resemble this, sans the big wallet. :(

Yes, an excellent find!
I have those carbs myself, they really work great, even on an internally stock engine. Easy starting, steady idle, outstanding throttle response, good fuel economy. Only issue I had was that the only rubber manifolds with a perfect fit were non-angled, so I had to space the tank up a little bit, to avoid conflict with between carbs and petcocks, and that the side covers must be modified as well. The air filter connection on the carbs end up 10 mm higher than stock, and the carb/manifolds are a bit shorter than stock, so there is clearance issues with pod filters also. I am working on modifying a used set of side covers to fit these carbs, in combination with some velocity stacks and UNI pods.

Thanks, any pics available of these mounted in your bike?

The sale was the result of a death of a collector, thus the nephew had a garage / estate sale. Had some bikes also, some R6 front end stuff, still has at least one 750 kit, quite a few internals like valves and springs. I may go back for more but i dont know, nothing i need or can see an obvious profit on.
