So I picked up the newest bike I've ever owned today, a 2013 triumph tiger 800xc. It's already got an arrow exhaust, hyperpro suspension and the full compliment of hard bags. Definitely a different feel, but it'll be nice for longer distance and 2 up riding.

I had a ducati 748 that I blew and added an 853 kit to. It was great, but took too much expensive maintenance. The EFI was awesome on it, even with as basic as it was.

This thing seems great already, and with the luggage will be very handy. I can actually stop at the store without a backpack! Plus my wife actually agreed to go for rides on this one.

A great benefit of the Trumpets is that they use the OBD2 diagnostics port. So the ability to connect your phone via BlueTooth etc for diagnostics and resets of trouble codes without having to visit the dealer is a great benefit - something all bike manufacturers should be forced to do/use.

I've put about 100 miles on it already and it rides great. I'll have to be careful though, it is way too easy to speed on it. It's so smooth you don't even realize that you crept up to 45-50 from 35.

I saw the obd port under the seat. I hadn't even thought about pulling codes or resetting the light. I paid way under blue book because it has 100k on it, but was recently serviced with receipt and other than a few scratches looks great.
