Yes CV carbs really like a BIG filter box. but that's more an issue at higher RPM. The inside of a parallel twin engine is like a giant air pump, so some oil vapor out the crankcase breather is normal. that's the 1/2" or so rubber pipe coming from the rear of the cylinder head.
