I'm in the process of building one. I was trying to use a street sign for a seat pan but it was really tough to bend The bend is just right for a skid plate though wih some fab work . Will post up some pics
I have one I made a while back but never got around to fabricating mounts. Judging by the lack of paint on the bottom of my frame I should get back on that project.
I`ve made several like this. I was at our local Yamaha-KTM shop last week and they had at least 10 different dirt bike skid plates hanging on the wall. A couple looked like they could be adapted to fit a XS650.
