Does anyone know what either of these things are? They were in a box BMW motorcycle parts.

The thing on the left looks like a handlebar perch. (That's a Honda lever just for reference.)

But I have never seen a four-hole perch. That bolt I stuck in the pivot hole is a 1/4-24 (non-metric). Based on which side of the pivot hole is threaded, this is a right-side perch. So, huge, four-hole perch with SAE threads, I was thinking an old Harley?, but I couldn't find anything close. Or some other American or U.K. company such as Indian, Triumph, BSA, Royal Enfield, etc.?

The other mystery part looks sort of like a basin wrench.

And it looks sort of like a shock spanner wrench.

The square hole in the mystery part looks like it is intended for a 3/8" drive socket extension, but the hole is really too big.
Any help on either part?

Good lead -- did a little searching, and they do look sort of similar, but searching BMW stuff is not easy. The other stuff in the box WAS R75 and R100 compatible. But BMWs are metric. The pivot-hole threading is 1/4-24 which is SAE, or English, or "inch" or whatever you want to call non-metric.

The other bracket with a square hole looks like a kickstart mount. My old shovelhead had a similar square stud.

This is a looong shot... HD hydra glide had hydraulic drum brakes IIRC. That could explain the SAE thread. I have no idea how that H-D brake system was designed though....
Or, you may be dealing with "The Infamous PO", who may have stripped the original thread, and decided to fix it without access to metric drills and taps......

That bent arm could possibly be for a rear brake, some older bikes had that square hole arrangement, cheaper than splines I guess.

The perch is for a '71-'72 Triumph Boneville or Tiger.View attachment 150196
YES, fantastic, thank you very much. Yes, the guy I got the box of BMW parts from had a little bit of everything, including an old Triumph. I should probably give it back to him, but I seriously doubt that he's ever going to get his Triumph back up.

I think this might be the part you mean. Harley kickstand leg stop.

It reminds me of a part from an old Harley forward control kit. Everything about it says "Harley" to me. It's probably not much of anything, and I'm going to quit worrying about it.
The Triumph perch, on the other hand, is a bit rare. It's a good find.

1/4 - 24 is USS thread. Harley used it for a long time. I think the arm fits a rear drum brake on a big twin, early pan or maybe a UL, or WL or WLA. 1/4 - 28 is US fine, 1/4 - 20 is US Coarse. Harley should have taps for the 1/4-24.

Best!

The thing with the square hole and a smaller round hole on the other end looks like a rear brake part, the inner lever that the brake rod connects to. The curve and ball on the clutch lever doesn't match the Triumph levers, but the perch may be off a Triumph.
