8hrs until time to leave. Brats on the grill, eat and get some shut eye. Stole this from Mailman's post today but it is appropriate.
Been 15+ years since I have taken a bike trip. May not be fun the whole time, but it should be interesting.

In Charleston WV be there early afternoon Thursday
Lakeview and I are bunked down at the Mainstay Inn in Alcoa TN, about two hours via the Dragon from the Iron Horse. We should be there by about 10-11:00AM this morning (Thursday) and our plan is to unload the bikes and ride out to seek lunch.
.....and if we see any trees across the road on the way, I am using gloves to pull them off this time dammit!

My plans got changed ( I hate when work interferes with fun). I had planned on being there this morning ( Friday) but I'm going to have to pull an all-nighter and leave when I get home.......that's going to put me coming in around 7am Saturday morning......just in time for breakfast. My only other option was to cancel....I REALLY didn't want to do that. SO........when I shake your hand Saturday morning just don't pay attention to anything I babble about. I'll be going on no sleep and struggling. Might get some rest and do the Sunday group ride instead of trying to push myself Saturday. 1975 Ratty XS650.......wheels up at 2am.......5-6 hour ride ( with coffee stops). You gota love it. What could go wrong.....right?????

I told the wife we need to leave before Noon so we will not be leaving until around 3 or so 
Oops. Change of plans. No way to get the FJR and the café bike in the same trailer so I am just bringing the café bike... and the wife. See you all in a few hours.
