John, I’ve followed your posts regarding this bike, I’ve always admired the history you’ve had with it. It seems to be really well cared for. Someone will be lucky to get it, and I think your asking price is really fair. Good for you for trying to keep it within our community where it will be appreciated for the rare classic that it is. Good luck to you.

I forgot to say that I am in Maryland. Mostly original with Mikesxs Dunstall copies, Mikesxs repop wiring harness, repop XS1 tail light base with NOS lens, Asian repop seat (the issues have been ironed out), 135 mains, Halogen headlamp, original points ignition, original charging, newish paint and matching numbers. There is an emotional attachment to this bike but the sands of time have taken a greater toll on me than the bike.

Hi

I'm really interested in the bike and just sent you a PM. I've got 3 XS1's and 4 XS1B's so she will go to a good home

I live in the UK and have never imported a bike but I'm told that its not that difficult and looks quite easy to arrange

I'm an avid fan not a dealer and think the XS1 is yamaha's greatest secret!

Hi all, the deal went down at ironhorse exactly as planned, and as things go on busy rally weekends. I finally got it out of the trailer and took a look at it.
I want to say I'm speechless but since it's me you'd know I was lying.
