8 litre viper powered motorcycle

The one that Chrysler built with the V10 engine didn't come with a drive chain. They tried riding it and when under hard acceleration the torque of the engine turning one way caused the bike to spin the other way. Not a safe ride. They sold it without a drive chain for display purposes, and then only a few.

And he’s such an unassuming character. The simplicity of his tool kit is going to be in my mind next time I go looking for my next shiny tool purchase, it might even stop me. Mind you I might have to buy a lathe now

Or the old school version.

....when too much, is simply not enough....

The "thing" that was built by Chrysler using a Viper V10 engine and a two-speed gearbox was actually called the Dodge Tomahawk and it was a publicity stunt / ego piece for then-DaimlerChrysler Corp executive Wolfgang Bernard who enjoyed being photographed on it (see photo below).

Here is a wikipedia article on this monstrosity.

Was it really a motorcycle.....I don't think so. Are there any videos of it being ridden (except in a straight line and only very slowly - see video) - none that I could find.
In fact, like many choppers, the Tomahawk was a marketing piece which also served the dual purpose of stroking the ego of a powerful parent-firm executive at a time when the company was trying to unify two different corporate cultures.
