Hi all and thanks for the add. Am looking for a rear rack and possibly top box for my 1977 XS650-D (447 Roadster). If anyone is looking to part with theirs or can point me in the right direction as to what might fit from different models please get in touch. All best, Jon

if you havent already, go ahead and look it up in the search bar, and it SHOULD point you to the classified section of the forum. theres tons o' stuff for sale/trade there. good luck, and welcome to the forum!

Forum member DanielBlack ordered a rack made by Craven in the UK, it was not specifically for our Yamahas and he had to get creative and fabricate some mounting attachments. But it’s a nice rack.

Myself and some others are running Amco racks. No longer made, but they show up occasionally on EBay.

you can get racks for the special but they obscure the taillight too much, imo. luckily, earlier rear fenders with lights are bolt-on, and you can cover the hole left in the back of the seat with a bag fastened on...

Hi Jon and welcome,
the posts show there's Lotsa options out there. Or you could build your own.

#8 gauge aluminum sheet & ex-Harley tank rack
Or for serious carrying capacity:-

Add a Velorex.

Racks are handy but, nothing beats a sidecar for serious haulage.
