..... but it's not near the quality of the originals. Sometimes you'll find a N.O.S. one on eBay but from the prices they ask, you'd think they were made of gold, lol.

Here's an option, go to the hardware. Get a 1/4-20 thumb screw/bolt, jam nut and either ball knob or star. Rubber grommet for the side cover. Done. Being polite, I'm not fan of the spring loaded twist and turn factory thang.

No problem. They are really nice pieces. Wish i'd have bought a 2nd set. If he decides to make a 2nd batch i will certainly grab another pair.

I have an 81 SE. it has plug in plastic side covers. No pins or 1/4 turn latches.
