Parts sourcing locally as much as possible but, shoot it's getting tough these days!
So, for my current 79 project I'll try posting and asking for the small items which just don't seem to turn up locally in my Vancouver WA area.
The front end is requiring this chrome trim piece. I have only one. Need One! Please, (77-79 Standard model item)
I will also soon need the L shaped stamped steel piece which attaches to the headlight bucket and the bottom triple clamp. "Special" headlight ears are being used.

I've got the one for the Special but it is one piece with Yamaha on the front if you are interested.
Would be just the ride...

Appreciate that offer greatly. Can I hold that idea awhile? Hoping for the simpler look of the Standard front end..

No joy on the chrome ring. I do have the headlight clamp though if no one else come thru...

Rear fender rubber mounts? The two that are front/forward on the fender sides and they must be very similar to the tank mounts.
Never did come up with the front fork chrome trim piece and now I've headed to the rear of the bike to custom mount the rear fender to the frame loop too.
Pics of a rubber mount ? I may make them out of tank mounts?
 
The fender dampers are considerably smaller than tank dampers. I can't see getting tank dampers to substitute.
I have fender dampers and the fork chrome trim piece. PM me for pics.
