Anybody do benchtop powder coating?

A friend how got into powder coating built his oven from a house oven. He built an aluminum box big enough for a frame. He used two inch two inches insulation.
The house oven had a digital controller. You set the control for the temp you want. The oven had burnt out elements. He bought some new ones and mounted them in the box. The controller on the top. Worked very well.
I cast my own bullets for several of my guns. I'm on several reloading forums and they talk about powder coating cast bullets.
The powder coat being slick and hard acts as a lube to prevent leading the bore. You can run higher velocities with softer alloys.
I have thought about getting set up to do that. as well as small bike parts.
On one forum they tell about using a PID to control the temp of your casting pot as well as your ovens. These PID controllers can keep the temp in your pot or oven with in just a few degrees of what you e them at.
I built one for my casting pot but set it up so things just plug ion. This way I can use one controller for several things.
