Got mine as well. I happen to have a N.O.S. original to compare to and it's a very good match. The angle of the mounting bolt casting has been corrected and the bolt hole depth matches up well too .....

And although not very scientific, the rubber hardness seems the same using the "fingernail" test. Shape and "arch" also match up well .....

The side ribs are kinda the weak spot on our stock guides. They're usually the first part that comes off, especially if the guide wasn't centered properly when installed.

That was the case with mine. Perfect candidate for the SR500 guide mod! Thinking about the SR guide, it doesnt have the side ribs but has only center one. Wonder why the opposite than the XS guide? :shrug:

Or a bevel drive shaft as per the W model Kawasakis except right up the center of the engine.

Hi Bill,
better yet, stay with the chain (or even a toothed belt) on one side so it'd be fixable without having to pull & dismantle the motor.
