Well, it's bright and cheerful here today. View from the window just now. Not sure of the temp, but this has been a mild winter so far. Might have the worst of the weather still to come. But, with a nod to MaxPete's observations on Seasonal Affect Disorder, the best thing is that the days are getting longer. In these Northern latitudes, it's dark by 4pm in late December. Now, early Feb, it's not quite dark at 6pm.

Not long to wait . . .

All of january was 60* or better..Forcynthia bushes began blooming and one home has dafodils and other spring flowers already out...Forecast all this week is for Spring weather to continue...73* forecasted for today....and sunny..I'm itchin' to GoRide...

"Bridge of the Gods" has a very long Native American history of salmon fishing. The interpretive center on the Washington side is a fine small Columbia Gorge museum.
The Columbia is very narrow there as it is known that two mountains threw rocks at each other which created a "bridge" across the Columbia. There was a landslide which did temporarily block the Columbias flow.
Hence the original "Bridge of the Gods"
BTW it is a steel grate bridge now and quite high in the wind too so crossing it on two wheels does give that eery and exciting feeling.

No,but it is a historic farm property..this is just one of several out buildings ..theres also the farm house..The whole property was run down but owned by the same family in the area..and they have been bringing all back..one building at a time...Just a stop along my backroad route...which is real nice..no LEOs' out here..very infrequently so its no worries running a non legalized vehicle..just a few miles mind you..not a day trip..just a 20 min blast...just gotta blow out the cobwebs..Bike is running good but i have discoved my swingarm bushings are beginning to fail..so dang..one more thing to do...I fully understand why i was getting a harmonic weave at 55 mph on a 4 lane road in the mtns..between the crappy bald Dunflops..really shtty and worthless rear shocks and now the swingarm bushings no wonder we was a flexing...Mind you its still rideable and the swingarm is moving a little..enough to see when i test it with bike on centerstand..Removing the seingarm and installing the bronze bushings is not in my skillset...I'm just SMH
