For Sale - Another steal in Portland, OR.

I believe someone here in the forum built that one. The member’s name is eluding me at the moment.

The 79F was bought by a fine Australian gal who was reluctant to be a kicker starter. Sear Height and bike weight were just not comfortable to her. It's a great stock Standard bike. Rides exactly like that.

Did you eliminate the starter? Yeah the XS can be a handful as it’s not the lightest bike on the block. I’ve sold my last two bikes to ladies, a 650 Tempter and a Kaw 400, both light and nimble. I was even thinking of just addressing that market. PM me sometime and maybe we can ride or show and tell.

Not, the starter is as adequate as most XS's .
I prefer to kick start these XS's myself as I have a starting routine which kinda checks functions & confirms readiness. I consider the electric start to be a great back up for any needed circumstances. Like a knee complaining.... the 79F would have made a very fun reliable resto mod bike as I wasn't a fan of the tallish stepped 79 seat but that seat was too rare and nice to change it out.

Man, the prices where you live are so great! You can’t touch a decent one around here for less than 3-4 thousand.
