Talk about budding, my Desert Willow is budding like crazy and I wonder what this lil' fellow is going to be. It's to be 64*F and breezy today. The SG is waiting for the week end with 70*f and calmer winds and new jets in the carbs. I've mowed the yard 2-3 times this month.

On Monday, I said 'snowing'.

It's snowing now, on Saturday. It hasn't snowed all the time though. Oh, no. Varied it up with some rain too. Heck, we've even had a few brief clear spells. But tonight we are told officially this has been the wettest February in Britain ever.

Cardiff Wales UK: It has stopped raining, for now. Yesterday, Friday, the rain started at approx. 7.00am and stopped approx. 5.00am this morning. The rivers are all up but nothing nasty. Now the wind has started. I was hoping tomorrow, Sunday, would be a nice riding day but that idea seems to be evaporating.

It's 36° here in Harriman, TN, with a high of 59° expected. The sun is hiding behind some cloud cover, so Watts Bar Lake is missing its diamond like sparkle, but the bluebirds are hunting in the lawn, and the day looks to be a fine one.

I'm a bit under the weather, I have a migraine coming on, and I'm tired due to a new medication that, once ramped up, will hopefully curtail the migraines.

Wordman, have you ever tried a 1/4 tablet of Kirkland Sleep Aid for those migraines? It contains a muscle relaxant that works well on mine. Does make you a bit sleep for an hour or two.

I haven't, but I do have a muscle relaxant I take when I get a tension headache--I'm a professional when it comes to headaches. The good news is, the sinus surgery seems--so far--to have drastically reduced the number of tension headaches. I've had one, maybe two, very mild tension headaches since surgery.

The meds I'm on for the migraines is Propranolol. It's a beta-blocker meant to lower blood pressure. Mine was in the 144/92 range at my last visit, and since Propranolol is also good as a migraine prophylactic, we're giving it a try. Frankly, I think my blood pressure being up was a result of having been ill recently (and just really getting over it), but we'll give it a try. Now that I can actually breathe, I'm losing weight and hope to start exercising, too.

I take Naratriptan when I get a migraine, and it usually goes away within an hour of having taken it. I'll look into the Kirkland stuff, though. You can never have too many weapons in the arsenal!

Just about freezing point when I fired up the snowblower yesterday to remove the driveway's drift and clear the sidewalk.
+4ºC today but forecasted to be colder later. Saskatoon awaits the usual March snowstorm.
I doubt it'll meet the cold/windspeed/snowfall numbers to qualify as a true blizzard but it'll likely be close.

Rain yesterday, rain today, rain tomorrow and the next day. There is no place for the water to go so standing water and mud everywhere.

53° and rain here in Redneck Heaven. A high of 66° and rain expected.

Tornados last night in Nashville. We're a couple hours east of Nashville, so all is well.

Not to direct this at you specifically, but just using your post to highlight something. Nashville had a lot of damage and the greater Nashville area had several people killed, the tornado kept going on the ground as it went east Putnam County in Tennessee is a few counties east of Nashville proper and sounds like it may have actually got the worst of things with 19 of the 25 people known killed so far in Putnam County around Cookeville, TN.
