What have you done to your XS today?

I forgot I had this caliper off of a Ducati swing arm about 3 years ago. Might be worth seeing if I can mount it.

I have everything but I keep getting air into the system from somewhere so I ordered a new, one-piece line. The lines for some reason weren't long enough to be able to bolt it to the mount. I rebuilt the master cylinder a week ago and cleaned the caliper but did not rebuild it.

Gotcha. Ya, my new lines (Duals) have been ordered quite awhile.
They are the only Chinese items I am using on my project.
Guess what, Ebay keeps delaying the expected delivery
:umm: :lmao: :poo:

Well, I spent about half an hour trying to install these fancy pegs but they’re supplied with cheap ass chinesium bolts, and figuring out the best angle for them with all the different ways they can move is actually no picnic. The bend in my highway bar doesn't help matters much, so I’ll have to be responsible and patient and wait until tomorrow or Sunday to take a trip to the hardware store for some real metal bolts, and probably some additional washers to help things stay put.

Very disappointed with these pegs. Struggled with them for another hour after spending an additional 10.00 and a half hour at the hardware store. Put in a return request and I didn't even get a wash in. Hardly enough time to take a ride today. Hopefully tomorrow is as nice as it’s supposed to be and I can at least get a wash and a good ride in

TZ, son-in-law got what looks like the same pegs. Amazon sale? I don't know. But he slapped them on his Shadow ( Which has a big round looking crash bar)
He snugged them up good and after a few miles, one was pointed at the trees and the other at the ground. We went around a curve. I said, "Hey boy! You better put the right peg up. You just barely cleared the ground." Now you have problems. It may not have been his mechanics?

That’s why I’m lookin at a schott. My leather that I wore when I bought my bike has shrunk about a size and a half this last couple years. *sigh* Cheap Jackets.
I’m back in my 1984 Schott thanks to weight loss. It really is a very fine jacket. First rate. The fit is perfect everywhere. I noted the new ones are L, XL, etc. My vintage one is a 42 Long. There’s no belly or thick neck room in it. I plan to send it off for repair this summer, due road rash and some rotted stitching. The down side is no vents and no armor.

Pictures ! Pictures !

I have a nice leather jacket similar to the character Ed from the show Northern Exposure. The jacket itself was derived in the 80s. Family inheritance I guess you could call it. Wore it all throughout high school and now has been demoted to "just for riding"
