Hey gang, since I'm stuck at home for the majority of the day now, was wondering about painting!
My tank looks like garbage, and the aluminum will never polish up, I've got an airbrush, a compressor, and an enclosed space. What I don't have is a clue!
What paint sticks to engines well? I'm thinking of a flat black for the main bulk and a gloss for the covers.
I've only ever used raddlecans before

Yeah... what John said. Look for POR15 engine paint. It's good stuff.
But yeah.... don't think an airbrush's gonna hack it. Touch-up guns are pretty cheap. Check out Amazon. I'm using the DeVilbiss kit. It ain't the best, but it does alright.

Por15 looks good. Spray gun is out of reach currently, will see what I can do. Harbor freight trip may be in order, what kind of prep can I to the engine to help the paint stick

If you'r looking at black check out PJ1 products. This paint hold up very well.
