I am assuming when you say K&N filter you are talking about removing the airbox and running straight filters. There is many methods but I got a catch can for a go cart and fabricated it.
First off, you should be warned that K&N pleated style pod filters do not work well on our stock CV carbs and can cause tuning issues. If you're going to use pods, the straight foam UNI pods are a better choice. That being said, the easiest solution for the breather hoses remains the same. Install a power brake check valve. This is a one-way valve that will let crankcase pressure out but no air back in. This will produce a slight vacuum in the cases which is said to improve power output and also lessen oil leaks.
The valve is available at most auto parts stores for about $5 and is a perfect fit into the end of the stock breather hoses. Poise it over your pod filter and any oil or oil mist that might come out will be absorbed into the filter and recycled through the motor. I've never noticed any to speak of coming out of mine .....
