Wow it's been a few days since I posted ... Since last post I bought a clean(ish) 79 frame to build my original purchase a restoration ... Then found a killer deal on a few more bikes so now I'm building two out of many. I'm terrible at taking pictures and documenting as i build but I'll post a few up when I get a chance.

These things multiply like rabbits!
As promised here's a couple pics of the engine. This covid 19 bs has my local shop (where I am working on this bike) closed down for a few weeks. That and even though I am still working my regular job my hours have been cut so this one may take a while longer.

Specials had the Mag wheels. Special II had spoke wheels, a 16 on the rear. The rims were alloy without the rain catcher lips.
The side cover and tank badging was simpler/cheaper done.
Everything else was the same.

Well, not quite yet.
Rear Drum brake vs Disc brake differences meant that the swing arm and frame were even different. As well as chrome options such as footings? Chain guard even?
