I prefer the rectangular vs round, saw these on this bike in this article.
Look plenty tall and wide enough so I dont end up staring at my own shoulders.

Thanks
Hard to tell for sure from the pic but they may be stock mirrors that Yamaha used on Virago, V-Max and mid-80's Maxim models. They should bolt right up to stock 650 mirror attachment points. Stem dimensions varied model-to-model, for instance, original Virago stems had the mirrors fairly high and wide. On my '94 V'go, I replaced original stems with RoadStar ones that brought the mirrors down and in a bit.

Plus one on v-star mirrors used several sets. Could be a touch wider when installed on euro bars.

Lucille (red 1976 XS650C) came with no mirrors at all so I bought a set of the round MikesXS replacements and they worked fine and looked <I think> just like the originals.

I have since switched to MikesXS Honda 750 mirrors. They are also round and chromed but they are a little bigger diameter and the stalks are a little taller - and they look just fine while providing a somewhat better rear-view. I also got a set of these little chrome anti-vibration mounts for the mirrors and they keep the view a little steadier, because these bikes....well, some people say that they vibrate a little. :lmao:

Interestingly, I am pretty sure that those mounts were originally developed by Suzuki for the 1979 GS850G - which really didn't need them - but it appears that the aftermarket has embraced them now.

lol like a comfortable looking tee shirt?
Function trumps form. Colorado siligrips, on every bike I ride for more than a few minutes at a time. The softest compound is the bomb. I even have them on my electric bicycle.

Can't find on their website... is the right grip bigger ID to account for the throttle? You using the soft or firm composition?

I use soft (tried hard soft is better) and order the set with larger RH throttle

Gary, what mirrors are these, they might be the winner?
Fleabay, Yamaha v star 650 I think pretty sure any v star is fine. you could parts # search verify I suppose.. Sellers tend to lie about scrapes and scratches. :cussing:
