Any good motorcycle movies?

Just flipping through my January 1971 Cycle magazine,

Dick Mann, Malcom Smith, Dave Aldana, Don Castro, Mert Lawill and oh yeah....Steve McQueen. Turned on a whole generation to motorcycles. My all time favorite.

Quentin Tarantino is my all time film making hero!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Amazon (or maybe the copyright owners) upload a lot of full length films in a degraded format: very narrow, degraded sound, or faded out away from the middle. I assume that this is to "poison the well" for people looking for film + "full length". But this has been up since 2016 and not taken down.

I've had a quick look and it looks to be all there. So fill your boots while its still there.

Agree with you about Tarantino - The first time I saw one I couldn't believe what I was watching. They are like VERY violent fairy tales, The plots are full of (deliberate) ridiculous twists. You have to suspend your disbelief, Otherwise you'd be that guy in the cinema who snorts and says in a loud whisper , "Well, that's not possible because...." to his wife.

Love them all.

his formula or style is the crazier the better, but keep the subcontexts believable, which restrains it from being over the top crazy and just boring

Ford vs Ferrari is really good if we want to get off the topic of motorcycle movies a little. Also the Art of racing in the rain was good, but someone was cutting onions in the theatre when I watched it.

Crusty Demons of Dirt for off-road. I guess it would be considered a classic now since I originally owned it on VHS... Great soundtrack.

Not motorcycle related, but most of us like racing in general. Netflix has both "Shelby" and "McLaren" , both worth a look see. The success of the Ford GT at Lemans was a result of these two guys, at least their contribution to the project.

"Stone" Aussie biker movie from the 70's............Kwaka 1's was the gangs bike preference...........May be hard to find, i downloaded a copy from Utube years ago and it was just watchable........well worth it if you can find a copy somewhere
